Simply Visio, a software platform that aims to help low vision patients, is a result of ophthalmologist Dr. Murat Erbezci’s twenty years of experience on the field.
Medical therapies and rehabilitation methods are often available to people with low vision. However, almost all of these methods are practiced at a hospital or a clinic, which poses a difficulty for patients with limited mobility. Conscious of their hardship, Dr. Murat Erbezci, Dr. Bulent Serçin and Osman Akdemir set out to design a vision rehabilitation software that patients can use at their home because Simply Visio is a technological and innovative method for low vision patients. Simply Visio was achieved as a result of Dr Erbezci’s knowledge and experience in low vision, Dr. Serçin’s in medical technology and Osman Akdemir’s competence and knowledge in information technologies.
